NORTH and SOUTH on I-95: follow to Exit 17. Go SOUTH on Saugatuck Avenue for about 1 1/2 miles, then make a LEFT on Duck Pond Road. After less than 1/4 mile, take a LEFT on Harbor Road. Follow that until you reach a small wooden bridge - at this point you will be able to see the Yacht Club to your left. Go over the bridge, make your first RIGHT then first LEFT and follow to Yacht Club.
However, if you are trailering a boat, you may not take it on the bridge. You must then turn RIGHT prior to the bridge go to the end of Canal Rd. Go LEFT over the next bridge, then LEFT again, and take your first RIGHT to follow to C.P.Y.C.

L.I.E. EAST to Exit 51N, Deer Park Ave. Route 231 NORTH. Set Odometer to 0. Turn LEFT onto Deer Park Ave. going NORTH past Northern State Parkway, Dix Hills Fire Station is on right. There is a fork in the road. Take left fork, Suffolk #35 (2.0mi). Cross Jericho Turnpike (Route 25) (at 3.1mi). Road becomes Park Ave. At traffic light (3.6mi) bear RIGHT onto Suffolk #86 (Broadway). Continue across Cuba Hill Rd. (5.2mi) and past Suffolk #11 (Pulaski Rd.) (at 5.4mi). Continue on Broadway, which becomes Centerport Road. Cross over Route 25A (E. Main Street) (at 7.1mi). You are now on Little Neck Road. At 8.1 miles, turn right onto Morahopa Road. At stop sign, bear LEFT onto Beach Plum Drive continue down what looks to be a driveway (at 8.4 miles). You'll see a sign at the entrance to Centerport Yacht Club.

From the WEST and NORTH: Take the Long Island Expressway (495) East to exit 41 North (or the Northern State Parkway East if you don't have a trailer - to exit 35N) to Routes 106 & 107 North. After the underpass, bear right at the fork onto Route 106 north. At the third light, turn right onto 25A (Northern Boulevard. - also known as Hempstead Turnpike) At the 5th light, by the fire station in Cold Spring Harbor, turn left onto what becomes Shore Road. The Bay is on your left. Proceed about 1/2 mile. The CSHBC is on your left.
From the EAST: Take the Long Island Expressway (495) West to the exit for Deer Park Avenue North towards Huntington, Rt. 271. Go North past Jericho Turnpike (Rt. 25), over the railroad tracks, to Northern Boulevard, Rt. 25A. On the right will be a gas station and a red real estate agent building. Turn LEFT onto Rt. 25A and go west through the town of Huntington, bear right at the fork, continue up and down hill, and go through the town of Cold Spring Harbor. At the second light in Cold Spring Harbor (just before the fire station on left), turn RIGHT onto Shore Road. The water will be on your left. Go about 1/2 mile to CSHBC on the left.

From Glen Cove Road: Take Glen Cove Road north to the end where it dead ends at the Glen Cove Fire House. (Note: as you come into Glen Cove, the divided highway splits. Cedar Swamp Road goes to the right, Route 107 continues left. STAY LEFT and continue on Route 107.) Glen Cove Road turns into Route 107 and, at the end, Pratt Boulevard. It dead ends at the Glen Cove Firehouse. At the Firehouse make a LEFT onto Glen Cove Avenue. Make your first RIGHT onto Charles Street. Make right on Chatsworth, follow over the railroad tracks, continue to fourth light (Boston Post Road). At the Boston Post Road make a right. Proceed to next light (Larchmont Avenue) and take a left. Continue down Larchmont Avenue until it ends as it approaches the Long Island Sound. Bend right at the fork. Horseshoe Harbor Yacht Club is the white clubhouse on the waterfront inside Manor Park next to the beach.
NORTH from New Haven: take I-95 (New England Thruway) South to exit 18a. At exit follow Mamaroneck Avenue (forced right) until it ends (Boston Post Road). At the Boston Post Road take a right. Continue on the Boston Post Road for 8 lights to Larchmont Avenue. Take left on Larchmont Avenue and continue down until it ends as it approaches the Long Island Sound. Bend right at the fork. Horseshoe Harbor Yacht Club is the white clubhouse on the waterfront inside Manor Park next to the beach.

Take Long Island Expressway to Exit 49 (Route 110) or Northern State Parkway to Exit 40 (Route 110). Turn NORTH, toward Huntington, on Route 110. You will pass the Walt Whitman Shopping Center on your right, cross Route 25 (Jericho Turnpike), and continue on through the village of Huntington Station (the road dips under the Long Island Rail Road tracks). Continue on another couple of miles, and you will go through Huntington. Stay on Route 110 (which is now called New York Avenue) for about a mile, and you will pass through Halesite. You will pass a fire house on your left. Continue straight on (the name of the road changes to East Shore Road) for another mile or so, and the Huntington Yacht Club will be on your left, right on the water. The total mileage from the L.I.E. to the Club is 8.75; from Northern State Parkway, 7.75; from Jericho Turnpike, 5.4; and from the center of the village of Huntington (Main Street, Route 25A), 2 miles.

Make a left turn at the light onto Orienta Ave. Proceed about 150 yards and make your first left onto Rushmore Ave. You will see the sign for Orienta Beach Club about three quarters of a mile down on your right, at the corner of Bloomdale Ave. Make a right onto Bloomdale. Orientaâs driveway will be about 75 yards on your left.

Take the Long Island Expressway (Route 495) to the very end. Heading EAST, go through 4 or 5 lights until you approach a traffic circle. Go through the circle continuing EAST. Go through 3 lights. At the 4th light, a bank should be on your right. Turn left heading NORTH on Northville Turnpike. Follow this to the end. Then turn right, heading EAST on Route 48 (Sound Avenue). Stay on this road for approximately 24 miles. You will go through Mattituck, Peconic, Southold, Greenport and East Marion. Go over the causeway into Orient. You will pass Latham's yellow farm stand on your right. Shortly thereafter, the Candyman will be on your right, immediately after which is a monument where you turn right onto Village Lane. * Take this toward the water, less than 1/2 mile. The road will bend. Go straight onto pier. Orient Yacht Club is a red building at the end of the pier.
From Connecticut: Take the New London / Orient Point Ferry. Turn left onto Route 25 and go approximately 5 miles. You will pass a gas station on your right. Enter the school district with the school on your right and Orient Firehouse on your left. Take the next left at the monument onto Village Lane. Follow the directions above from *.

Take L.I.E. (495) to Exit 41N or Northern State Parkway to Exit 35N. Both exits say Routes 106 / 107 Oyster Bay / Jericho. At the top of exit ramp make a RIGHT turn into traffic flow. On the right you will pass a Waldbaum's & Marshall's Shopping Center, then the Milleridge Inn. After the Inn you will go under an overpass for Jericho Turnpike (Rt. 25). Bear RIGHT and follow the sign for Rt. 106 - Oyster Bay. You will travel 6 miles on Rt. 106 NORTH to Oyster Bay. As you approach Oyster Bay there is a large Hess Station on the left. Make a LEFT turn onto Lexington Avenue. Follow Lexington Avenue. to the end. You will be in front of Roosevelt Elementary School. Make a LEFT onto West Main Street. Take this road out of the village, bearing RIGHT at the fork. You will then pass under a narrow LI RR trestle bridge. You are now on Shore Road with the water on your right. Stay on this road all the way around the bay, following over a drawbridge into Bayville. Go to the end of the Road and make a RIGHT onto Bayville Avenue. Stay on this road until it ends at the Center Island Police Booth. At the booth the road becomes Centre Island Road. 30 MPH speed limit is seriously enforced! Take this road to your first LEFT turn (about 2 miles) onto Yacht Club Road. The Club is 1/4 mile on the RIGHT. As you face the tennis courts, the Junior Club is on the RIGHT.

From Upper West Side of Manhattan or New Jersey: I-95 North to exit 8B (City Island/Orchard Beach). If traffic is really slow, you can exit at 7c and continue on the service road until exit 8B, making a right turn after the large bus stop and parking area. You will pass a grassy area with a statue, a grassy hill on the right. Cross one bridge, stay in right lane, and make a right turn at the light. You will pass a golf course on the left, and Pelham Park on the right. Keep going until the traffic circle, and continue through the circle 180 degrees (exit labeled City Island). When you cross the second bridge, you are on City Island. Stay on the main street (City Island Avenue), making a curve to the right. Continue 10-12 blocks to Centre Street. There is a Chase Bank with a large blue sign just past Centre street, make a right before the bank. Park on the street and walk to the end of Centre street. The Stuyvesant Yacht Club is at the end of the street.
From Manhattan, Upper East Side: Triboro bridge to Bruckner Expressway to I-95 North, or if you are familiar with it, the Willis Avenue Bridge to the Bruckner to I-95 North. The Willis Avenue Bridge is the fastest way to travel but involves a few blocks on city streets in a neighborhood that is not particularly good. Once on I-95, follow the directions above.
From Queens/Long Island: Take the Throgg's Neck or Whitestone Bridge to I-95, and proceed from there as described above. You will be very close to exit 8B as soon as you enter I-95, so be ready to get back off almost immediately.
From Connecticut and Westchester:
From NE, take I-95 Southbound toward NYC. Take Exit 14 onto the southbound Hutchinson River Pkwy. Or just start off on Route 15 (the Hutch / Merritt Parkways). Follow the directions above.
From Connecticut and Westchester:
From NW Westchester, Rockland and Northern New Jersey: Take I-87 or Sprainbrook Parkway or Bronx Parkway southbound and exit onto the Cross County Parkway eastbound. Take the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound and follow the directions above.

Stay in the right lane and get off at Exit 6 to Orchard Beach/City Island. Go to the first traffic circle and turn right onto Shore Road. At the next light, turn left (follow sign to City Island) and go to the traffic circle. Take the second exit (to City Island). Go over the bridge and turn right onto City Island Avenue. Once on the Island, follow the above instructions.
